NICOE is "Open School" to cater to the needs of a heterogeneous group of learners up to pre-degree level. It was started as a project with in-built flexibilities. the National Policy on Education suggested strengthening of Open School System for extending open learning facilities in a phased manner at secondary level all over the country as an independent system with its own curriculum and examination leading to certification. Fight against Illiteracy. The main purpose behind the formulation of NICOE is to initiate a nationwide,non-official and non-political autonomous organization with the object of enabling individual citizens to contribute,in the from of an organized co-operative effort, to the implementation of the education development plan.
Free primary education: We want to run a free education for all-boys and girls between 7 and 14 years. Education should be imparted in primary level in the student's mother tongue. A free primary universal education is to be imparted to all the children in the village. This will make the backbone of a country strong. Women education: We provide special women education for SC, Scheduled Tribes, students below poverty Line, Other Backward Classes, War Widows and Physically Handicapped Students women in our society.
